Cartel conduct fact sheet May 2022

Cartel conduct involves businesses colluding rather than competing, by engaging in conduct such as price-fixing, dividing up markets, rigging bids, or restricting the output of goods and services. 

This Commerce Commission fact sheet provides an overview of some of the types of behaviour that the Commerce Act classifies as cartel conduct.
